Deven Parekh Insight Venture Partners

Deven Parekh (above right) is a managing director at Insight Venture Partners. Founded in 1995 by Jeff Horing and Jerry Murdock, Insight Venture Partners is a New York based private equity and venture capitalist firm, which focuses exclusively on software and internet enabled businesses and currently has a capital base of approximately $3 billion dollars.

Deven Parekh Insight Venture Partners attended the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a BS in Economics. Before Deven Parekh took his position at Insight Venture Partners, worked as a Principal at Berenson Minella & Company, which is a New York based merchant banking firm. He also served on their M & A committee.

Deven Parekh Insight Venture Partners is also a Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute, which is a fellowship that honors the memory of Chicago industrialist Henry Crown. Deven Parekh Insight Venture Partners also sits on the board of Publicolor, which is a non-profit organization that uses color and painting to engage and motivate disaffected teenaged students, and enables students to work together to improve the quality and appearance of their learning environments.
